Khundi Panda Day Day | Re-Verse Bewhy Legendary SMTM 5 Track

Day day! Remember the legendary SMTM 5 track that top the chart by Bewhy? Now it’s fellow Dejavu Group member Khundi Panda that gonna give his own take to the legendary song.

Mnet teased Show Me the Money 10 with a new project called Re-Verse Project. This time, Mnet made several rappers to re-verse some popular songs from previous episodes of SMTM. The re-verse concept is to make their own verse of the song without changing the hook and music. The rappers changed a short verse of the original song into a new one based on their rap style. This re-verse project reminds us of some great songs that are made in SMTM.

Several rappers are involved in this project. There are Keem Hyoeun, Zene the Zilla, Layone, Boi B, Khundi Panda, and TakeOne.  The songs re-versed are YGGR by Bobby, Day Day by BewhY, Turtle Ship by ZiPal team, and The Roots by Khundi Panda.

Khundi Panda’s Version of DayDay

From SMTM5, the song Day Day that helped BewhY to advance to the final round was re-versed by his label mates, Khundi Panda. The fun and exciting feeling from this song matches well with Khundi Panda tight rap style. In this two minutes video posted by Mnet on September 22th, Khundi Panda sang his verse live.

I just wanna dance like my birthday day

After spitting his verse, Khundi Panda also sings the chorus where the lyrics rhyme, just like BewhY did on SMTM5. He nailed the fun concept even though he didn’t sing the full version of the song.

Not only re-verse Day Day, Khundi Panda song also been re-versed by Take One in his Re-Verse Project. The song is The Roots which he collaborated with Justhis and Golden in SMTM9.

Khundi Panda is a South Korean rapper under the Dejavu Group led by BewhY. He made his first appearance in Show Me the Money in season 5 but he is more popular for his appearance in season 9. In season 9, he advanced until the Semi Final Round and made his reputation bigger than before.
