Dayday Released Antihero EP | Closed The First Stage, Move to Second Stage

Dayday released an EP entitled Antihero on August 28th this year. The EP consists of seven tracks within two title songs, Let You Down and I’m Lazy featuring Keem Hyeoun. Dayday explained that every track has its own charm due to the different style of each. He explained hiis thoughts about the album in the description section,  “This album, which consists of 7 tracks, reflects Dayday’s efforts to show a different style for each track. From trap to singing rap, he did a lot of different styles. I think it’s an album that’s well-done with its unique flowing flow.” 

Moreover, he said that the album is the initial step for the next stage of career and life, since he is starting his mature age. He also expresses how he sees music in his 30s age, “The artist, Dayday, is standing at the end of his 30s. This album contains his thoughts as an artist to close the first act and prepare for the second act in all areas of life and music. Perhaps it can be said that the song ‘Antihero’ is a song that conveys Dayday’s belief that runs through this album.”

Dayday Short Profile 

Dayday is a South Korean rapper. He debuted as a member of the idol group DMTN in 2010, but left in 2012 for personal reasons. Three years after, in August 2015, he announced the beginning of his career as a rapper and producer with Allday Allnight along with Jacob, Raina, and ₩uNo. 

Still in the same year, he made his appearance as the contestant of season 5 of Show Me the Money which aired on Mnet in 2015. After the spotlight he took from the show, he released the mini album All Day Every Day. The title song Call Me featured his producer in Show Me The Money 5, GRAY and Jay Park. The song focused on expressing Dayday own way of thinking, beliefs, and commitments in a realistic way.
